Great podcast on feeding, i’d like to know more what the OT did to help you and your kid to eat. As my dd is also below 1 percental and thus i DO chase her around with food!! i wish i didn’t and after this podcast maybe i won’t but what do you do with a kid that doesn’t want to eat and IS really underweight.
I have to say that her weight is getting better but still its a bit of a battle at meal time. Also how long do you guys make a 1 and a half year old sit at the table. My daughter is VERY active and i just can’t see her sitting there longer than 5 mins, she’d scream…would you just let them scream it out??
thank your podcast is ace i am trying to be a mean mummy…but with food i end up caving in!

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I tried your podcast and will not be listening anymore. In episode one…your child was crying because she was hungry and you were to busy with your friends and your stuff to give her a snack even though someone had one to offer. You just taught your daughter that her mother will not meet her needs when she has a legitimate concern. I’m all for bringing up responsible adults but you have to be their for your child to teach her respect and trust. Not giving in to a tantrum is one thing. But letting her cry (or causing a tantrum) because her basic needs were not met is making you look like an unresponsive, irresponsible parent. Hey…you put it out there.
